PitchViewer Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

1.1 PitchViewer is a trade name of Reurings Consultancy B.V., established at Ermelosebrink 14, 3845 LG Harderwijk, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 97621498 (“PitchViewer”, “we”, “us”).

2. What PitchViewer is (and is not)

2.1 PitchViewer is an online platform where users can view and share photos and information of specific camping pitches (pitches / standing places).

2.2 PitchViewer is not a complete catalogue of all campsites or all pitch numbers. The content grows through user contributions and may be incomplete or out of date.

2.3 PitchViewer is not a tour operator and is not a party to a booking with a campsite. Any links to a campsite booking page are for reference only. You contract with that campsite, not with us.

2.4 We do not guarantee that a pitch will be available, unchanged or suitable when you travel.

3. Scope

3.1 These terms apply to use of the PitchViewer website, app and services, and to every account.

3.2 By creating an account you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and the privacy policy.

3.3 We may change these terms. The current version is on the website. If a change is material, we ask existing users to agree again, or we inform you in advance. We store with your account the version you agreed to.

4. Account

4.1 No account is needed to view public content. Uploading and similar functions do require an account.

4.2 You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your login credentials secret.

4.3 You may not create an account if you are under 16, unless we allow otherwise in writing.

4.4 One person, one account, unless we allow otherwise.

4.5 You can close your account via the intended function or via the contact address. We may suspend or terminate an account if these terms are breached or in case of abuse.

4.6 Taking part in promotions in which you can win a prize, voucher or similar reward is allowed only from the age of 18. That also applies if you already have an account. This follows the statutory age limit for games of chance and prize promotions in the Netherlands. We may ask for an age declaration or proof before paying out a prize. If you do not meet that requirement, the right to the prize lapses.

5. Use of the service

5.1 You use PitchViewer only for personal, lawful use.

5.2 You may not:

• disrupt the service, scrape it or load it automatically beyond normal browsing;
• fake accounts, reviews or photos;
• spread spam, advertising or malware;
• infringe the rights of others.

6. Your content (photos, texts, data)

6.1 You remain the owner of content you upload, to the extent you hold those rights.

6.2 By uploading you grant PitchViewer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content for the service: storing, displaying, resizing, caching, moderating and (technically) distributing it. This licence lasts for as long as the content is on the platform and as long as needed for backups and evidence.

6.3 We do not commercially reuse content outside the PitchViewer service unless that is stated clearly here or in a later version.

6.4 You warrant that:

• you took the photo yourself or have permission from the rights holder;
• the content does not infringe copyright, portrait rights or privacy;
• people in photos are not unnecessarily recognisable, or you have permission for that;
• you do not post misleading information about a pitch or campsite.

6.5 You are responsible for your content. We are not obliged to review everything in advance.

7. Moderation

7.1 We may refuse, adapt (for example crop for display) or remove content if it conflicts with these terms, the law, or our quality or safety standards.

7.2 Photos must relate to the intended camping pitch. No stock, no random holiday photos without pitch context, no illegal or harmful material.

7.3 We may handle reports from users or campsites; we need not reply substantively to every report.

8. Campsites that claim their page

8.1 Owners or managers can claim a campsite. Claiming is free, unless we offer a paid subscription.

8.2 Extra features (such as an interactive map or insights) may fall under a paid plan. The current terms of that plan appear with the offer.

8.3 The campsite warrants that the person submitting the claim is authorised to represent it.

9. PitchViewer intellectual property

The PitchViewer brand, logo, software, design and database remain owned by Reurings Consultancy B.V. or its licensors. You receive only a limited, revocable right to use the service.

10. Availability and liability

10.1 We aim for a working service, but give no warranty of uninterrupted availability or error-free content.

10.2 PitchViewer is a tool for orientation. Decisions about booking, travel or safety are yours.

10.3 Our liability is limited to direct damage and to the amount paid out in the relevant case by our liability insurance, or — if there is no payout — to € 100, to the extent the law allows.

10.4 This limitation does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, or where the law forbids limitation.

10.5 We are not liable for acts of campsites, booking platforms or other users.

12. Termination and content after closure

12.1 After you close your account we may withdraw your login.

12.2 Publicly posted content may remain visible if it forms part of the catalogue, unless you submit a deletion request that we can reasonably carry out (or the law requires it).

13. Governing law

13.1 These terms and the use of PitchViewer are governed by Dutch law.

13.2 Disputes: the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory rules of your country of residence also apply.

14. Final provisions

14.1 If a provision is void, the remaining provisions stay in force.

14.2 The Dutch text prevails if there are translations.

15. Promotions, points and rewards

15.1 PitchViewer may from time to time offer promotions, points schemes or rewards. The rules of a specific promotion appear on the promotion page. Those rules apply in addition to these terms. In case of conflict, the promotion rules prevail for that promotion.

15.2 Taking part in a promotion and redeeming points or a prize is allowed only for natural persons aged 18 or over with a residential address in the Netherlands, unless the promotion page expressly says otherwise.

15.3 Owners, managers and other representatives of a campsite — including anyone who has claimed a campsite page — are excluded from promotions, points redemption and rewards, unless we expressly deviate from that in writing or in the promotion terms.

15.4 Points, account status and rewards are personal, non-transferable and not a claim for money. Payout is in the form stated for the promotion, for example a Bol.com voucher, not in cash.

15.5 We may refuse contributions, reverse points, refuse a payout or suspend an account in case of abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts or content that does not meet the promotion or platform rules. Each promotion may have a maximum amount per user and a limited budget.

15.6 We may change or end a promotion. Rewards already approved and committed generally remain in place, unless there is abuse or a legal reason not to pay out.
